Independent Systems was registered in 1988 as the trading name for AHC Computer System Consultants cc.
Independent Systems have developed, maintained and supported the Accpick Point‑of‑Sale System since 1990. The Company is based in Hilton, 10km north of Pietermaritzburg in Kwa Zulu Natal.
With over 25 years of experience in Point‑of‑Sale retail and wholesale operations, the owners and developers of the software continue to deliver their background and experience in programming, system design and software development to the Point-of-Sale arena in Southern Africa. The following criteria, identified as vital to the management and control of any successful business operation, are constantly addressed: ease of use, stability, reliability, system controls, inventory management and on-line sales and marketing management & information as well as sound accounting practices.
Independent Systems is manned by a professional team of support, technical, administrative & product development staff.The support desk is driven by experienced and able staff who, once on-site training has been effected, assist in telephonic attention and on-line support.
